    Lee Filters

Can anyone help me with a store in Australia that sell these Lee Filters. I have been told to get the 100mm x 150mm as I have 77mm and 82mm glass. Thanks

    Graeme,

I bought my Lee filters overseas.

By ordering from the UK, I spent $200 less than what a well-known Australian store was asking.

I purchase from and recommend www.studiokitdirect.com, which is based in the UK.

Lee filters come from the UK, BTW.

As for Australian stores which sell lee filters, I've only heard of one or two local suppliers. IMO and IME it's better to order from overseas.

While I can't argue against Xenedis about buying overseas, especially with the dollar so strong, you can get them through Vanbar. I priced "big stoppers" from several places a few months ago and found that, after shipping, I was only going to save a few bucks buying overseas. I believe they do stock a few of the normal Lee filters at their Melbourne store. They will transfer it to their Sydney store for you for free, or ship it to your address for cost.

Vanbar was the supplier to which I alluded.

Its price was $200 more than Studio Kit Direct's price.

I have no issue with Vanbar (I've never shopped there), but a $200 saving wasn't something I was going to ignore.

This is a very old thread but I wonder where, in NSW or online, is best to buy the compact kit for X100s? I think it is called a Seven5 Micro system. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dOiNc...0E0A66DA1B1E37
