Sydney meet at darling harbour - saturday, 30th march

I just wanted to post up the final details of our planned Darling Harbour Meet on SATURDAY, 30TH MARCH.

We will be meeting outside of the IMAX Theatre at 5PM then head off to have some dinner at one of the local restaurants. After dinner we will be walking around the Darling Harbour area where there should be photo opportunites of architecture, street photography, the Hoopla Festival and who knows what else.

Those members who have indicated that they are coming is as follows:

Raccoon +1, peterb666 +1, Darey, Duggo, ktoopi, ? sunset, judybee, ? Mr Felix, twix, fjoe45 +1 and myself. If I have missed you or you find that you now have that weekend available and would like to join us, then please post your intentions in this thread.

Yikes!

I just realised.... That is the Easter weekend yeah.

I am 99% tempted to be going to Temora - there is a fly in there which happens every year.

Ok, I go Friday and come back Sat (or maybe do the round trip on Sat), but....
That means getting back to Wollongong, packing up, getting back home, getting the camera gear and getting into the city by......

17:00.

I don't like the chances of that happening.

I won't say which way I am going yet - as in life: Things change for reasons beyond our control - and I don't like making promises to things I can't keep.

Since it is at Darling Harbour I wont attend as I shoot there weekly I will be out at Sydney Motorsport Park all day though watch and shooting the Drift action.

In case you're interested I got an e-mail from Wilson Parking and they have a promotion on over the Easter weekend with some car parks only $5 for any length of stay. This includes 'Darling Park' at 201 Sussex Street near Darling Harbour but you have to use their 'book a bay' facility on-line. We've used it before and although it doesn't actually book an exact bay you are guaranteed to get in.
