Funny how many were critical of the 6D when it was announced, purely based on its spec sheet compared to Nikon. Once it gets in the hands of actual photographers it seems to get strong praise for its images.

    Goes to show.

    Hi All,
New to site today and just came across this thread. Don't know if people are aware, but there are two versions of the 6D.
One with the WiFi and GPS, this is the "WG" (often mentioned in ad titles to differentiate) which is sold in the shops and the other one that does not have the WiFi and GPS, I think this is the "N" version some times referred on eBay etc. as the import model.
The model without WiFi and GPS is often the reason for the extra cheap price
. Be careful and read the advert's fine print. That doesn't mean to say that many/most of the imports are not the good one......just be cautious.

    Regards

    Paul

Happens with lots of different products, from motor vehicles to even building components. If someone says they are going to get a Toyota Camry and you ask which one, they will either say a new one or 2013 model. But there are so many different versions of the same car.

    Buyer beware as always.
