    Using Android tablets

Would it be OK to keep the charging lead connected while using an Android Tablet ? Mine sucks the battery power pretty quickly running just on the battery , I shearched the net but got differing answers , Just wondering if it would damage anything , EG : Battery
    Canon : 30D, and sometimes the 5D mkIII , Sigma 10-20, 50mm 1.8, Canon 24-105 f4 L , On loan Sigma 120-400 DG and Canon 17 - 40 f4 L , Cokin Filters

no different to running a laptop while plugged in! Go for it. the worst it can do is cause the battery to die earlier, and as you state it is already not that good anyway. There are places that will replace your battery for you, sometimes with a higher rated one so that battery life is improved.

The other thing I can suggest is download 'juice defender', from google play, it monitors your tablet and conserves power usage. It does things like turn off wifi when not being used etc.
