    Kodak Brownie

This little champ arrived in the post today

IMGP8372.jpg by Mr Lurch, on Flickr

I'd love to run atleast one roll of film through it; but where can you get such things anymore?
Any idea where I might be able to order online? And what film I need?
Some flash bulbs would be awesome too.

    Cheers,
    Lurch

No. A couple of the bigger stores - and even one out at Castle Towers (Camera House, I think)- still carry heaps.
(Which you may think is Mysterious and Spooky! But that's good.)

120 film is still fairly easy to get, its using in medium format film cameras which are having a bit of a cult following these days.

Hmm! That's something else. I think I've still got a dozen - buried somewhere???
I think you might have to consider an (older type) of electronic flash and (maybe) an adapter to attach a PC cord.
On my old (similar) Agfa camera I once hooked up an old flash.

PS. look here, about 12 entries down... http://www.ebay.com/sch/Flash-Bulbs-.../155817/i.html

    Nice.

You might want to double check if it takes 120 or 620 film. 620 film is no longer made. The 620 film itself is the same as 120 but uses different spools. 120 film can be re-spooled onto 620 spools but seems pretty fiddly to me and you need to do it in darkness. You can sometimes pick up 620 film on ebay - it will either be re-spooled by someone else, or old expired film (which might be fun) but fairly pricey (around $20-30 per roll from memory). It might also be possible to trim the 120 spools to fit? Should be plenty of info around the net.

    Cheers.
    Phil.

Some Nikon stuff. I shoot Mirrorless and Mirrorlessless.

I have one from the same era and it's called a 'Brownie Six 20' Model F.

See this thread for a pic. http://www.ausphotography.net.au/for...ed-photography

I think it's a fair assumption that yours probably uses 620 film also.
    Cheers

Looks like you're right. Several refs on Google show they took 620 film!!!
