Metering

What is your main method of in camera metering? Do you change it often or pretty much always use the same setting?

Change it often, For Surfing the prefered method is Spot metering , Seascapes at Sunrise Multi- Segment/ Pattern works for me

Thanks William, I've pretty much just always used Evaluative. I'm going to start to explore the others.

For wildlife / birds centre weighted.

I mostly use centre weighted. Hardly ever matrix or spot.

Centre weighted probably most frequently, followed by matrix then spot last.

I use spot around 90% of the time and matrix 10%. I never find myself using centre-weighted for some reason.

For street I use spot metering, almost everything else I use evaluative.

Im only a rookie and 99% of the time use evaluative maybe thats what Im doing wrong.
