Tamron SP 70-200mm F/2.8 Di VC USD

Just got off the phone with Maxwells who told me the Nikon version of the Tamron SP 70-200mm F/2.8 Di VC USD should be available within the next week.

Will be most interested to see how it stacks up against the excellent, but very expensive, Nikon VRII.
    Cheers
    Kev

If it performs as well as the 24-70 2.8 could make a lot of people happy.

Yes I'd certainly be interested - have the Tamron 24-70 f2.8 which is hardly off my camera.

Well it's had some great reviews in the Canon mount so it could be a goer.

Saw some pretty good reviews from thatnikonguy on youtube. I might consider purchasing this lens once I have purchased a 24-70 Tamron!
