SB900/910 setting for use with Better-Beamer?

The instructions for the Better-Beamer say to set the zoom on the flash to 50mm, but there is no mention of which ILLUMINATION PATTERN to use.

The options are Standard, Even, and Centre-weighted. (Page E3 in the SB910 manual)

Which one should we use?

Use the standard pattern. I can tell you from my own testing that the 3 variants really don't make much difference to the beam spread, certainly not at any useful distance.
