Here we go again just 2 years after the last event ,this is enough to bring tears to my eyes as I know the heart ache to follow .

At this stage there are only 3 businesses in the town not affected by flood water and countless homes damaged.

Thank you for sharing this set of photographs - I don't want to say nice work because I know the heartache and devastation involved. I like the processing in #1 & #3 - it provides a gloomy tone. Stay safe ... Lesley

Australia is a place of great diversity. Devastating floods in one state, Devastating fires in another.... Well.... Up goes the insurance premiums again.
I just hope there are no lives lost. And those effected can have the courage to rebuild their lives.

I Love our sun burnt country,
    Although it brings us pain.
    The fires in the south,
Could do with all your rain.

Its one extreme to the other Garry..Great shots! Take care mate.

I guess Laidley's rich alluvial soils may have been formed from flooding like this, but that does not assuage the heart ache and suffering. Thank you for these graphic images.
