    question on network/ ethernet cable

I am trying to set up a PS3 to work with a mobile broadband dongle. My question is about the cable to link my computer with the ps3 console. Is the Ethernet cable the same as a net work cable? Is there a difference between cat 5 cable and cat 6 cables?

    Many thanks

An Ethernet cable is a network cable. Ethernet is a particular type of local area network (LAN).

There are differences between Cat 5, Cat 5e and Cat 6, but for what you need, it's not particularly relevant.

A basic Cat 5 cable will be fine.

    Thanks Xenedis,

Thought I'd better make sure because if I break the PS3 I'm a dead man.
