Hi Wayne, try Dangar Falls, the lookout at the end of Mountain Top Road, Dorrigo NP and just drive around some of the back roads to scout for a location. Plenty of beautiful rolling countryside and farmland to explore.

My old stomping ground! (i grew up in Bellingen)

One of the hidden treasures of the area is the Never Never River. It flows crystal clear over head sized rocks and is just beautiful.

To get to it, you have to head over the Bellingen river, and tun Left just before the Providore (a general store that's been there since forever) and continue out. It's Glennifer Rd Just after the Timboon Rd Turn. Great place for a picnic or just sight seeing. It's out in the Promised land.
