Some slides I took back in the early eighties.

I have been systematically going through my slides from when I first purchased an Pentax ME SLR back in early 1980. Here are a few of the better ones (I hope!).

    Thredbo River winter 1981.

At the top of Mt Pleasant on the corner of Mt Ousley Rd and Picton Rd, at the turn off to Picton near Wollongong.

Windsurfers at Cronulla Beach, circa 1983.

    Old Sydney Town, circa 1984

When the Concorde came to Sydney, circa 1984

Our cat at the time, "Monster". We called him "Monster" because we found him abandoned and malnourished as a kitten and this made him stunted as an adult, so the name "Monster" was aptly applied. He was as mad as a meat axe and would playfully attack you at any moment, but a lovely cat none the less.

    From South Molle Island, 1984.

Isn't it great to look back and reminisce about times gone by Lance. I like the snow in #1 I have only seen snow once.
And the Island looks good too.. Even though I am a Dog person, Monster is a nice looking pet. Thanks for Sharing

I shoot with Olympus Cameras.. Sometimes Canon and My iPhone SE 2020

Wow great stuff here. I remember the school excursions to Old Sydney town. Check out the bloke wearing his flanno in the surf.

Thank you for your nice comment, Warus. I didn't even notice the guy with the flanno until you mentioned him!
