Steve McCurry shoot the very last roll of Kodachrome 64

    Loved that film!

For anyone who shot Kodachrome 64 as I did, this is a video you may want to watch. Even if you haven't used film or even Kodachrome, then it may of be of interest as well. I'd have to agree with him when he says it was possibly the best film ever made.

He wasn't the only one. I was given three rolls, and found a firm in the States which was still processing it. Now it's history.

    I loved that film.
Those were the days when you had to get everything right in camera. Composition, exposure,DOF.
Thats what I find is the challenge of photography rather than post processing, but that's a can of worms I might open in a new thread.

Thats a bit sad really, I taught myself to shoot on that stock. I sat in on many an argument between velvia and kodachrome. I beleive velvia is still avaialble.
I have started shooting a bit of 120 recently and was pleased to see that there are plenty -well some places still processing and selling different stocks.
Togs are what my son wears to go swimming.
