    Bushfires : Stay Safe everyone!

After the bushfires here in Tasmania starting last Friday, we are now seeing very harrowing situations in mostly NSW but elsewhere as well. I hope all AP members, their extended families, friends and colleagues stay safe during this difficult time for Australia.

    STAY SAFE EVERYONE!

Very thoughtful of you, Rick. I hope all of these fires are soon under control and that everyone remains safe.

These Communities will be needing our support in the coming months and years....a simple thing like stopping at the local hotel for a drink or something to eat can mean alot to them.

While we are talking about it...while im sure there is the temptation to get down to one of these fires and try to get some pics RESIST THE TEMPTATION unless you are well trained, have the right equipment and the permission.

Bushfire photographers go through alot of training, have the right ppe (which costs alot) and are more often then not escorted everywhere they go on the fireground.

The perfect shot is not worth getting cooked or pissing off some angry firefighter with a hose
