    PS Action for Portrait workflow.

    I made this simple file that has 3 actions in it for Frequency Separation and to reduce reds in skin tone to help work flow along..

    If you have never done frequency separation before, it's basically an advanced and only the real correct way to smooth out skin without destroying the texture, like skin pores.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tei5qFXJUpY << 26min vid about what it is and how to use it. Not my vid..

    The Frequency Separation action will make the Low & High file layers that are needed so you don't need to do it all time when working on portraits or other images that may require some attention to detail.

    The low file has been set with a 10% Gaussian blur.

    Rar file contains one ATT.file::

    Frequency Separation 8bit mode

    Frequency Separation 16bit mode

    Reduce Reds in Skin tones

    Install into either folder depending on version.

    C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS6 (64 Bit)\Presets\Actions

    Or

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS6\Presets\Actions

    Or

    Applications\Adobe Photoshop CS6\Presets\ActionsMacintosh HD\Applications\Adobe Photoshop CS6\Presets\Actions

    Note: I'm unsure if this would work for the mac?

    Cheers
    Chris
