Well the end of 2012 is almost here and what a year it has been. Over the year I have had some medical problems which have knocked me about quite a bit. Some long-term issues were finally addressed and I am now in a much better place then what I was this time last year. I have still had some bad days and periods but overall things with me have improved.

Looking back at the year that has just passed, the word which best describes it is change. Personally I have finally settled in to an area which I am really excited about exploring in 2012. This is something I have been playing around with for a little while, now is the time I am going to get serious about it. For far too long I have been trying to please everybody and in the process I have ended up pleasing nobody. Now it is time to put myself as number 1 and do what makes ME happy. If somebody does like me for who I am and what I do that is more a reflection on them than me.

Work has kept me busy with many challenges, both technical and personal based. The last few months have been much better and I am looking forward to returning in 2013 after a month off to see what challenges 2013 will bring.

Finally I wanted to wish each and every one of you all the best for the festive season and 2013; I am taking a month off work and will have limited Internet access during this time. Catch you all on here, via Facebook or email in 2013.

Merry Christmas and a Happy new year to all

2012 has seen me step up my photography to the next level having purchased the Canon 60D and have started playing lots more with raw images and have had some really great feedback from tourism operators via my ross morgan photography face book site and also direct via email. I have a few ideas already planned for 2013.
