Christmas Constructive Criticism : Let's give each other a gift

With Christmas coming up fast (I bet you are already sick of hearing how many days there are left till the day arrives), I thought it might be nice for us each to give other AP members a small gift. Lets try and increase the quality of the CC on the site.

If each and every one of us just spends an extra couple of minutes typing a critique we can give a free gift to another member.

Instead of writing 'nice photo, thanks for sharing', lets try and add just that bit more to every critique we do. If you are new to photography or have reservations about how to critique, THIS thread will help you out. If we all take just a moment longer to type even one extra sentence when posting about another member's photo, we all benefit.

Even if you are time poor as the festive season can become a bit frantic for many, just once a day, spend an extra minute or two writing a critique that is a bit more detailed, is all that we are asking. One well written critique is probably equal to a dozen 'nice photos' posts. So lets all get together to make December 2012 our month of giving. And the best part, it won't cost you a cent.

Join in and consider doing a Christmas Constructive Critique a day, as a gift to another AP member. I am sure you would like to receive the benefit of better critique from someone else, so share it round and give one yourself.
"It is one thing to make a picture of what a person looks like, it is another thing to make a portrait of who they are" - Paul Caponigro

Constructive Critique of my photographs is always appreciated

It's all about Christmas, and a time for sharing the love. So spread your smartarseness a little further with an added Christmas cheer.

As long as you describe it in detail, and say what you like and do not like about it, and suggest ways to improve it.

Are you really sure you meant that

I like Rick's idea, so in the spirit of Xmas, I shall go forth and multiply my CC'ing

ETA: But there's a limit to the number of bird photos that I can CC, sorry
