Globemasters to fly low over Brisbane & Gold Coast

Four of Australia's largest military aircraft will do a fly-by of Brisbane and the Gold Coast on Thursday at below-skyscraper level.
The huge C-17A Globemasters will take off from Amberley Air Force base west of Brisbane around 9.15am (AEST) on Thursday.
Four minutes later they will thunder over Brisbane's South Bank at just 300 metres above the ground. At 9.30am they will fly over the beaches of the Gold Coast at below the height of the city's loftiest building, the Q1, which stands 322 metres tall.

Remember these are Qld times so if you are in NSw adjust your clock !
So will my 150-500 do the job do you think? Haven't got much alternative. See how I go.

Globemasters to fly low over Brisbane & Gold Coast

This happens almost daily in Ipswich. Sometimes I reckon I could hit them with a rock they're that low. Thanks for the info though. I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for them.

Shot with my 150-500mm Siggy on my old D300, so I think you'll be fine.
