Some may say it's a waste of time and money, others a bit of fun. Fair enough either way.
My better half reckons it's just another excuse for people to get drunk. I reckon they don't need a reason and at least there's some fun along the way. I'll watch the race at home alone, and start drinking later.
Anyway, have already place a little each way on MALUCKYDAY, fixed odds 25 to 1. It's now about half those odds.
Jeez I hope an aussie horse wins.
