Anyone got recommendations for the current market value of the superseded Canon EF 300mm f/2.8 L IS USM.
Mine is in perfect condition and since I mainly do Soccer Team photos have only used it once or twice and subsequently it's in NEW condition.
What do you think I could ask for it?

Have you looked around on eBay or any other selling sites?
Lenses like this tend to hold their value, but like anything, it's only worth what people are prepared to pay for it.

I have been looking for a while on ebay.. were $6-5.5k now down to about $5.5-5k.
