They breed them tough in Guyra

I received a phone call from a work mate from Guyra at 6.15 this morning to say it was snowing in Guyra. I live at Armidale about 30 minutes away and decided I had to go for a drive before work (lucky I am the boss).

Got up to Guyra and snapped these.

No 1. - Glad I knew where I was going because the road signs didn't help.

No. 2 Guyra is quite high, as can be seen by this photo. - Yes people were still camping!

No. 3. They do breed them tough in Guyra

The dog doesn't look too happy about this walk.

Thanks . Wondered where the first snow photos would be posted on AP. It seemed quite wide spread. We didn't get any in Mudgee, it was just blrrruuuoody cold.
Since Phil has started the captions. #1, cow says "Sneow".

I once camped near Guyra in the middle of summer and spent two nights shivering.

The poor dog needs snow boots - I would have loved to see this beautiful snow.

Jealous of the photo op, not so much about the cold.

Great to see someone out taking the photos though.

    Cheers

It has been said that Guyra butchers keep warm by sleeping in their freezer rooms. Your images offer confirmation.
