    My first D600 shot

Here is the first picture I took with ny new D600.

    50mm, f3.5, 1/200, iso 6400 @5:30am

Resizing and sharpening was the only pp done.

    Here is a 100% crop.

    Sharpening only. Camera hand held.

The race is on to catch the best fish. Cropped, sharpened and resized.

I'm extremely happy with the results so far. Next step will be to see how it performs with a dx lens.
    Cheers, John D

Nice for ISO 6400 there John. How smooth and creamy does that sky look in the second at ISO 400. Just beautiful. You gotta be happy with the new body for sure.

Yes Rick, I am very happy with it. That sky does look good enough to eat.

I'm one of those people who hate carrying a tripod around so the high iso performance will be of great use to me.

Love the fishing fleet one. Smooth looking is the only way I can describe it.

Thanks guys. I'm thinking that I will have a long, happy relationship with this camera.
