    No mojo, need a meet

Hey guys, I haven't picked up my camera in 3 weeks and its starting to bother me.
I'm not sure I can wait for the next meet (sculptures by the sea) to start taking pics again.
If anyone wants to catch up pls contact me. I've tried doing challenges etc to get me going again but I'm feeling quite depressed about a few things and my passion and confidence for photography is seeming like a chore.

I'd be more than happy to do a shoot; my main challenge at the moment is time.

About all I can manage right now is a twilight cityscape during the week.

What's your schedule like on weekday evenings? Some blue hour cityscaping might get you back in the mood for photography.

I can only do Tuesday arvo or weekend at this stage. Next week I am available all day Monday or Tuesday 10th and 11th- itching for a dawn shoot tho

A Tuesday twilight might be doable for me; the weekend is completely booked out with non-photographic commitments.

I normally get home at 4pm, so it's fairly easy to roodle back to the city for a twilight shoot around Darling Harbour if you're keen.

John could you explain the process of "roodling" to the city?

Danielle I'd be up for a weekend dawn.... more likely Sunday.

No worries. I'm wrecked and over-committed this month, so it works out in the end.

    You'll get your mojo back.

Just remember, photography is something you're balancing in life along with everything else, and that it sometimes just gets shelved for a while. It happens to me quite regularly.

If you're forcing yourself, the imagery won't be good. IMO, you should only go when you have the inspiration, the motivation, and the right conditions. If I try to force something that just isn't there, it never works.

Tuesday afternoons are fine with me, I avoid weekends due to crowds. Are you interested in the zoo as I have a guest pass that will get you in for free? Or we can go anywhere you like.

    Too many tripod legs.

I can do a Sunday pre-dawn and possibly a Saturday one too. Unusually free during day on those two days as well.
    Cheers

I would be interested in a dawn shoot on Saturday,15th if you all want to wait until then. I would love to do Long Reef seeing that we could miss the Focus guys that w/end (whoever they are......I am presuming that they are the Seascape Flickr group you guys have joined with).
