Suggestions for waterfalls near Northern Rivers?

Other than Minyon falls, does anyone know of anywhere else in the Northern Rivers Region/near Byron Bay with nice waterfall opportunities? Feel free to upload your northern rivers pics here for inspirations! Got a new ND filter and I'm looking for opportunities to use it! Thanks!

    Protestor falls.

Huge. easy to get to the bottom of. It's near Terrania Creek.

If you find yourself near Alstonville, then you have:
Tosha Falls - Council maintained green area behind the sweage plant (you can't smell it from the falls and it's down stream) entry is off the back near gap rd (next left after gap rd town side it' sbeen a few years, I cant' remember the name of the road)

Dalwood Falls - BIG - kids jump here. Dalwood Rd - you will see the parked cars on the side of the road * entry via the paddock *

    and
Marom falls - not so big - kids jump here too. - start by heading out wardell rd (it's a great drive in a beautiful place, so even if you don't find it) somewhere down there you have to turn right and again, the parked cars will tell you where. *entry via paddock* - decent walk down hill

These are all local haunts, none of them are signed. If you want better directions, ask some locals. I haven't lived there in 15 years
    Greg Bartle,

Thank you! I will look forward to exploring these waterfalls soon! I also found Killen Falls today near Tintenbar which are pretty enough and gave me the opportunity to practise a little before I head out to catch the larger waterfalls! I had fun using my ND filter - definately a worthwhile purchase! Ive uploaded some pictures ;http://www.ausphotography.net.au/for...3-Killen-Falls

Whilst we are on the subject of local haunts, any suggestions for locations for hinterland scenes or interesting rock formations on beaches? I'm still exploring! I'd like to head towards Murwulimbah soon too - looks like there might be some potential there?!

    Thanks again!

Want to meet up one weekend Leeanne? I'm not far from M'bah and we could explore some good spots. I'd like to get to the Antarctic beech forest some day too but I'd like someone to go with as it's a bit isolated I understand.

Odille I would love to meet up and shoot together. I work quite a lot of weekends though as I am a shift worker. Are you ever free mid week?

I used to be all the time! I started part time work 4 weeks ago and so far have only had one day off.

All is a but frantic here at the moment as my OH's father died and we have to go to Coff's harbour this weekend for funeral Monday.

However, I think the boss is planning an overseas trip soon so I should have some days off. email me at analog6@onthenet.com.au and then we'll have each other's emails and I can let you know more quickly if I have mid week days. Mid week suits me better too.
