    16x9 monitors.!!!

    is it just me or does anyone else find the 16x9 format monitors hard work when using image software for photos....more the fact that there's not enough head room to display a portrait shot....I searched high and low for a 16x10..and in the end bought a used Dell 2709w ...but as that is now showing a intermittent fault, the only other option I have is the hugely expensive 30 inch Dell....any other suggestion for a 16X10..

    ive thought of using twin 24 inch dells as a cheaper option to the 30 inch...but im not sure a 24" for photo only would be enough..{tools on the other display}

    what are your monitor solutions ?
    Cheers and my name is Steve

    My Dell U2312 screens rotate with a flick of a wrist. I have dual screens, and if I want to edit a portrait I can very easily flip the editing screen to give me 1080(w)x1920(h) instead of 1920(w)x1080(h). Perfect!

    Please don't hesitate to provide me with CC! I'd love to hear your thoughts regarding any of my images. Thanks!
