    clip seal bags for lens

at the risk of asking a silly question, im heading to the beach and a bit worried about sand, does keeping spare lenses in a clip seal bag for extended periods do them any harm

canon 5dmk 2, some lenses, a couple of sticks to hold them up, a thing that make sun at night, and a sense of adventure

I have used (ordinary, humble, old) plastic bags for this. I may suggest chucking in a silica gel pack or two for good measure (though I didn't).
And anyway, it'd be better than tossing them into the sand.

Ed to add: I have put whole camera zip bags into plastic bags when windy as the fine sand can blow about. I will also see what the William and his like say about this.

Still shaking out my ears from the deafening silence. At least a bully won't kick sand in the lens

Of all the stuff in a busy photographers kitbag, the ability to see photographically is the most important
