im thinking mortage your life in advance on equipment, know the hell what your doing, a couple of connections to get in could help, great post, people living the dream, the stress to get the shot must be intense

canon 5dmk 2, some lenses, a couple of sticks to hold them up, a thing that make sun at night, and a sense of adventure
jeez, 3 minutes from the gun to going to the client. and 15 for just that one race. wow!
i'd seen pics online of the 'huddles' of photogs, all big lenses, all looking the same way. must be a lot of dollars floating around!
Interesting to see the yet to be released 100-400 1.4x in some shots. I'd love one of those, but suspect lost of $$$$$
