Looks like this doesn't get a lot of use. Not many additions this year by the look of it, some beautiful pieces of work there.

The AP gallery is a free hosting service.

Photos in the Gallery can be linked to other sites etc. So you can use it like Flickr/photobucket. But the Gallery is also only for active site members. People who use the Gallery and nothing else on the site, get their access to the Gallery removed.

Some members post their photos to the Gallery and then link them into their forum threads for critique.

I used it for inspiration in the early days into my photography, mainly to get me out of my two main areas I shoot. But needing a more specific piece of equipment often led me away from what had stired. ie marco lens. I don't think I've looked in anyones Gallery for quite some time, but I do feel they serve a purpose.

I might have looked once a long time ago, never give it a second thought. So I said no.

I voted NO, but then thought that maybe I do ... surreptitiously. I'm sure many of the images in the Gallery are also posted in the specific forum threads to which they relate. I don't go to the Gallery to view them but I do view them in the various threads to which they're linked. Still a NO though.

Ok, so in my fairly short time around here, I havent looked at the Gallery... Then having seen this poll I thought I should at least take a look.

There is some excellent work in there, but will I keep returning to 'have a look'? Probably not.

I do spend a lot of time looking at the images and learning from them in the CC section however - that section is invaluable.

I have to say I don't think I knew there was a gallery. Now I'll have a look...
Please don't hesitate to provide me with CC! I'd love to hear your thoughts regarding any of my images. Thanks!

As many have said. First looked for inspiration. But I haven't had a gander for ages.
