My new arrival due on the 30th January

Best picture I've seen in a long time, but I may be a tad biased...

Actually, as you paid for the services, you own the image. X-rays etc are generally owned by the patient. What you pay for is the professional diagnosis of the scan, not the actual scan itself.

    Thanks. Good to know.

At least I won't have to spend my time waiting for the arrival without Ausphotography access

    Some brief CC...

Somewhat OoF and too much contrast.
Interesting use of a central composure.
Significant emotional contact with this image, which saves it.

Congrats to you and your partner. the image appears that he/she looks laid back and comfy. sitting back with arm behind the head, enjoying the attention. Sounds like you are over the moon. Top stuff.

Already poking his/her tongue out at you too
I think the mono conversion works exceptionally well in this image.
But you may have cropped a bit too much of the person off

I agree. Disappointing for a professional photographer to produce this kind of work. Clearly also using old equipment with a high iso because its very grainy, you think for the price they charge they could afford the latest DSLR with better noise reduction.
