    Lens Caps

    Hi all
Sorry to ask a silly question as a beginner!
I am needing some lens caps as have lost a couple over the years but am not exactly sure what size to get for my Canon 1000D.
I have been looking at some on Ebay but the sizes are 52mm, 58mm, 67mm & 72mm, now I am confused although pretty sure I need the 58mm.
    Thank you for any replies.

google the lens that you need a cap for, and look for "filter size" or similar, each lens can be different

For a front lens caps, look on the lenses.
For a rear lens cap they will be all the same.
For a camera "body cap", which you place over the camera body when there is no lens, look in the manual.

Buy 6 of each ( saves postage ) and you will be set for the next few years.
