I am just starting to work with my new Sony A57 with Sony Zeiss 16-80mm zoom.
The following shot was at 1/200s, f4.5 (max for this lens), ISO 200, Focal length 80mm (35mm equiv 120mm), hand-held.
Spot focusing was used, focused on the very centre of the white pansy.

As shown in the enlarged section if=n #2, there is a distinct green fringing on the edge of the petal.

I have never noticed this to such an extent before (ie on my Sony DSCR1 with similar lens). But then I probably never took the same sort of shot with the same settings.

Any comment on causes, actions to take would be very welcome.
