If one with a cord is OK, just buy a cheap Chinese one for $10-$15.
    They work well.

If you want to go wireless, the Hannel Giga Pro 2 RF remote is also very good and costs around $90 local.
The Giga does time lapse, long distance remote shooting, timed shooting - you name it, it does it.
All my photos are taken with recycled pixels.

I just bought one of these, and I'm loving it! Can be used wired or wireless (via hotshoe).

thanks for the information, doing a bit of googling and I do like the look of the giga pro 2, I mite have to go down to the local shop tomorrow, it's a good thing I still have a $50.00 voucher for them, that knocks the out of pocket price.

I also bought a hannel giga pro 2 about 10 months ago mainly for timelapse work and have found it to be a great crontroller ! and also found that the battery life is very good so i couldn't be happier .

As above, Hannel, I've had mine for over two years, no problems, and being able to remote fire off camera flash is a bonus. Well worth the money.
