    Unanswered CC Threads

I was wondering if it would be possible to clean up the posts that come up in the unanswered CC thread that do not need CC.

There are a number of posts that are double post or no longer have the photo attached etc.

Or is it easier to just post something to bump them off the list? If so I will get right on it.
    Mark

I was skimming through the further ones down one day and came across one that I was surprised I had not answered
Looking at the date I seen it was August 2010 and I was OS at the time and now its 700 days old and I didn't know if I should reply to one that old

Mary Anne - I would if it still have a photo attached. Hey, you never know....you might just make someone's day.

If I see an unanswered cc post with no photo, well, I just leave it alone.

We introduced the unanswered threads option about 2 years ago now. So it is good to see that it is working, in that all current threads are getting at least one reply (better than none). Some of those appearing in unanswered now, are from before we introduced the feature. Certainly everyone is welcome to post to them, even this long after they were started.

Thanks everyone who uses the unanswered thread option, it all helps!

I've modified it (Unanswered CC threads) to time limit to 32 days (i.e. just over a month)
The Unanswered threads in the new Searches menu has everything.

I put up a photo that I'd have liked cc on, but put it in the member's mug shots, and got only a very small amount of cc on it. Just because it's a mug shot, doesn't mean that people don't want to improve their photography skills and need cc.
As for the very old posts, I stopped using the Unanswered because many were hundreds of days old, and others didn't seem to be posts that needed CC. It will be good to have the new month (and a tiny bit) age limit. Sounds like a great idea.

How come there are so many answers when it clearly sates "unanswered" threads? (??)
Unanswered threads are there for a reason, which we may never know(, by definition).

Thanks Kym, I think that will make it more usable, however it may need a bit of a tweak as it does not seem to be working as suggested.
