Sigma 17-50 F2.8 EX DC OS HSM First impressions.

My new 17-50 Sigma arrived today, took it to the park over the road for a few test shots and am very pleased with the results.

    1. 17mm, F2.8, 1/1000th, ISO100. A bit of barrell distortion evident but the edges look fairly sharp.

    2. 50mm, F2.8, 1/500th, ISO100.

    3. This is fairly heavily cropped aprox 1/6th original size and is a feral cat that lives in my shed keeping the mice down, it was in very heavy shade under the bush.
    50mm, F4.5, 1/125th, ISO100, onboard fill flash.

The big test will be on Friday night when I will be shooting a Pub gig for a local singer.
