POLL: The little personalised comments at the top of the site pages

In our discussion about AP, a couple of people have mention the little comments at the top of the site

    * Have an afternoon tea break
    * Time for a sunset shoot?

    etc.

So, should we keep them on AP, or get rid of them?

I must go to bed to early to notice them, but its probably a good idea to remind us what the time is

Don't care. I notice them from time to time but it does not really mean anything to me. IF it was possible (and I know this is a time consuming thing for the mods so feel free to ignore the idea )....but IF it was possible I would like to see that personal message set weekly to relate to something photography orientated - kinda like the Google themes. Does that make sense? Not sure I expressed it well.

I enjoy them. I find the dinner one in particular gets me thinking about what I am going to have. Only the dogs notice when I answer the questions posed out loud, so I think I am safe from the "funny farm" for now.

They are simple texts based on a time window.
If you want more... create a list with the time window and suggested text
They only ever meant to be a bit of fun, based on a plugin from vb.org

I enjoy them and answer them back...."Time for a cuppa?", "You bet !" I say!! Asking if I knew where the kids were is a strange one!

    Keep them I say.

My favourite is the "time to get out and take some photos, WhoDo?" (sic). Always makes me feel guilty (in a good way) for spending too much time on the computer - even if AP is my focus 90% of that time.

I like them, it's a bit of a human touch.
Keep them or "I don't really care" would be my two choices.

At the moment it says, "Shouldn't you be going to bed soon" and considering I just fell into a micro-sleep in the middle of writing a post and found I'd left about a thousand semicolons where my little finger had rested on the ; key, I guess it's probably true. Just came off a 27 hour shift, so micro-sleeps at the keyboard aren't just because I'm an old fart.

The "Did you buy milk, Allie?" has saved our breakfast woes at least once. Is there a setting that can allow them to be seen by those that like them and hide them for those that don't? That would solve it for everyone.

I get a laugh every time I read them....particularly the other day while waiting for a task to finish I logged on to AP to have a look - and sure enough "Aren't we the night owl" - Gets me every time. Also very good at guilt tripping me into bed . So I say keep them, just a good bit of fun.

I love it when I'm at work on night shift and we have 'time for a night shoot?'
