    Really Dumb question

    Hey all,
This is embarrassing but I have to know.
    What does EOS stand for?

Eos was also a greek goddess, the goddess of dawn. Canon also (apparently) chose EOS for its double meaning, that above, and the goddess. Being dawn, start of a new day (era), light from the dark, etc

If your car did travel at the speed of light I doubt you would care because your brain would be mushed into the side of the mountain 0.0000002 seconds after pressing the accelerator.

That actually would depend on how much acceleration you had to get you to the speed of light.
If you were in a car travelling at the SOL, the light from your headlights would also be going at the speed of light relative to your speed.
