    Troublesome bright spots.

I have taken a few photographs in the dark, or early morning recently and on a few of them I have found bright circles which are most annoying. In both situations I have not had the lens hood on, partly because I was using filters for some shots and could not be bothered putting the hood back on for those shots without the filters. I am wondering if it looks like flare or could it be something else. Pretty sure it is not sensor dust, too big, but maybe it was something on the lens. Either way would anyone be able to offer an opinion on what these could be?Lens flare (1 of 1).jpg

Looks like flare to me. I have had this on some of my night shots if I am too close to a strong light source like a street lamp.
