    Where to buy grey?

So I've made the descision to buy a new lens (Canon 70-200L IS USM II). The savings in buying grey are way too good to justify a domestic purchase, but what is the best site to purchase from considering price, delivery, warranty?

Thanks in advance for your recommendations.

I have always had a very good experience from Cameras direct. http://www.camerasdirect.com.au Price is comparable with the others, service good and no complaints about quality.

And you can always help support Ausphotography by purchasing from either a site advertiser or clicking through through the links here to the commission based advertisers.

There are prices for that lens at all of them.

    eGlobal

    B&H

    Adorama

    Digitalrev
    Andrew
Nikon, Fuji, Nikkor, Sigma, Tamron, Tokina and too many other bits and pieces to list.

    Hi Andrew,
I had a look at the site advertisers. Hoping for some first hand advice from those that have purchased before me..... Who did you buy from and would you recommend them?

Errrr, sorry Adam, I'm a total dud there cos I haven't bought anything from any of those dealers. Not because they don't have pretty good reputations but purely because I have managed better prices on many things that I have needed and not necessarily "grey" items.

I bought the same lens through E Global Linked through the site sponsors page and couldn't be happier with their service and price.

I've just placed an order through ddphotographics. They have shop fronts in Syd and Bris. I'll let you know how I go.
The price wasn't as good as DWI but I tried to order through DWI and they use paypal for their merchant services and that has a 2% loading, then if you want a reasonable shipping time, thats extra too. With the accessories it ended up being cheaper at dd.
    See my work on

There was no extras when I got my camera through DWI they are all factored into the price, buyers do not pay loadings. As for the shipping 6 working days is not slow considering I am 2 days from Melbourne or Sydney and I saved over $300.

I have used DWI, eGlobal and Digital Rev. All were excellent with the standout being eGlobal. After me placing the order Friday afternoon I had the item in my hand Monday afternoon

Digitalrev and eGlobal have served me well. Digitalrev was consistently faster.
When I bought a poorly calibrated Sigma lens from eGlobal, they agreed to pay for recalibration at CR Kennedy (Sigma official aftermarket service in Australia).

I bought the stuff that was similarly priced (less than 10% difference), such as Tamron 24-70 at Digidirect store, don't want to worry about shipping and service when it's so small.

They are the only one's I have purchased from ,but I have bought from them twice now, and when I'm ready to purchase again, I will be using them again.
I have had excellent service through Eglobal as well.. Cannot fault them and the delivery times are incredible!!
