    Photoshop CS6

Now that Photoshop CS6 has been released, has anyone joined the creative cloud rather than purchase the product?

Not Yet, I don't think I will go that way. It is fine for text where the transfer of data is really small in PS though you have much more data to move between the computer and the cloud. The processing will be done on servers and it will for 99% of the time be faster than the processing at home unless they become over subscribed in which case the servers have to work for more than one person at a time so the performance could be worse than you have at home. You also are reliant on someone else to do your backups. I like to keep control of what I do so I will be buying the product to install on my computer.

    Kind Regards

Not me. I have plenty of storage space here, and good backup systems in place.

If you use PS a lot it would be better off on your own machine.

Has anyone tried it yet? I'm itching to see the motion blur correction function. If it's as good as they say it is it'll render a lot of otherwise unusable photos presentable! I might have to download a demo and try it out tonight.

Thanks for all the responses. I'm sure we will hear a great deal more about this subject in the future; however, I agree with you, Livio & Rick. I don't feel like dealing with the uncertainty of the cloud until I know more. Perhaps we'll hear from some trailblazers soon.

Helpful info, Derek. I have the trial version and have ordered CS6 on disk.
    Regards,
    David
