    11"x!4" for $1

Since going digital I haven't had any of my photos printed.
While I don't expect much from my local Big W, I won't know 'til I try them. At a buck a piece that's about to happen.

    Mark.
I was disappointed with a recent batch I did there (1st time I was). I had not done "enhance" or whatever on my pictures because I thought I had primped them up all right myself. As a result they came out a bit dull.
Also, see what paper they're giving you. Could be matte or "satin".

Thanks Am. It's a cheap way for me to finally get a couple of prints to see what they look like. Of course I'll have nothing to compare them to (yet).
Just thought I'd post for others in the same boat.
Also a cheap way for Big W to gain and/or lose long term business from people. I'm sure each store will have different standards.

I have found your local one to be OK mostly. It was just that time when I thought I did a good job and didn't want to "spoil" them with their "enhance" function.
    Well...!
But that price is pretty good.

I`m just back from Canada/Alaska and have some I`d like to print....so I`m off down to Big`s tomorrow. Will get the people to check the screen before I press the final button. I did some 12 x 8`s at Harvey`s a while ago...sent then over the net and they were all too dark. Will speak to them when I get back there re what to do to overcome this. So, I hope Big`s printer is nice to me. $1 is hard to say no to....

WOW, that is super cheap. I might pop down and spend a few bucks myself. Thanks for the heads up Mark.

find out what color space they are using and make sure you are using the same on your monitor (as well as saving your files to the same).

Thought I'd throw a dozen photos at them and I have to say, I'm very happy with the results. Colours are pretty accurate. For a buck, you just can't beat this deal.

Slip on down with a few pics on a USB stick and spend a couple of bucks. You might be pleasantly surprised reaction. I will probably do another run before the sale ends.

I did a print at Top Ryde. The print came back with a ridiculous magenta cast. The loss of shadow detail was also much greater than I expected from a kiosk place.

I know this is store specific, so maybe we should list them out.

Top Ryde NSW is one to skip.

I have used Office works for a Pano, about 2ft long and they printed it 3 times before I and them were happy with the results.
The first print did not fit the paper so they made adjustments which worked out really good But the second print had scratches on it, so they printed it again, although it lacked the vibrance that my original image had I was pleased with the service
