Just went out to take a test shot of the (full) moon.

    Well, that's that!
Just finished a series of shots, not evenly timed, ending in the deepest stage of the partial eclipse - hopefully at 9:03:13 PM AEST.
Will post (any) results in appropriate forum.

Yes. See my post above. The "11:03" was 11:03 AM for GMT or UTC. We're 10 hours ahead, so it was at 9:03:13 PM, AEST.

Pea Ess: Such events are (and I dare say) ALWAYS given in GMT or UTC. Some helpful local info sources also add the local times.

Don't worry. I didn't even know. Like Mark said, it's all about Venus.

And FAIR DINKUM! On that score, Sydney Australia must be the ONLY PLACE IN THE WORLD where it RAINS on Venus!!! (Small rant there.)

Well, Andrew, get the times right for Venus. In the posts by Baz (ASIGN) the times are in AEST.

Mark: What can't I say? Nice shot! for 250mm.

    Am.

    Almost 4-got: I posted a series of tonight's in Night/Astro.
