    National Meets : this weekend

    Well our National Meets weekend has arrived. I am looking forward to getting up at 5.00am tomorrow and heading out.

    I hope everyone attending a meet in their area this weekend has a wonderful time, both social and photographic. Looking forward to seeing some of your photos as they start appearing.

    I hope it goes ahead, Rick, but right now we look like being blown out and washed away in the Hunter this weekend. If necessary, we'll postpone to the following weekend.

    Exactly! The D7000 is weather resistant but the lenses aren't!

    Rain stopped most of us here today...I see a few still got out but a lot of us had an hours travel to get there which we pulled out due to the weather...Going to make another date for sure.

    If it was only "a bit of rain", mate, no problem. Have you checked the weather radar? We'll need tie-down stakes and bailing buckets come lunch time!!!

    Ok, I've PM'd a number of the Hunter members and the unanimous response was "Sorry, can't make it"! Thanks to ollie, Mat, yarnella, Derek-C, squizzytaylor for responding (notice these are the Coasties?). Maybe I'll be better organised next time and get the notifications out there sooner. On this occasion, however, I see no option but to CANCEL the meet.
