Hi everyone : from the "Anonymous Critic"

Some of you might have noticed me join earlier today, as I appeared on the site homepage as the newest member.

I bet, about now, you are asking who is this 'anonymous critic'? Well I am not about to tell you - Otherwise I would not be anonymous, would I? But I will tell you a bit about why I am here.

Rick and the site mods invited me on board for a new idea for Ausphotography. I will be providing some constructive critique on the site, in a very specific way. How I will be doing so, will be obvious within the next week. Suffice to say, I hope you appreciate what I have to offer. Oh and my real identity may change from time to time, as Rick and the mods invite others to take over my role, if I am not available. Hey, I cannot be here 24/7 and if I go on holidays, then someone needs to step up and do my job, while I soak up some rays in Fiji or photograph penguins in Antarctica.

I s'pose you could call me Ausphotography's answer to The Stig... i could tell you my real name, but I would then have to kill you. Rick and the mods are sworn to secrecy, so don't even think about asking them.

I must say it is a pleasure to have been invited onto the site to take up this wonderful role. Can't wait to show you how my role will fit in.
Providing Anonymous Critique to the Ausphotography members.

    Hello Mr. Anonymous.
I'm glad you have joined. We need someone like yourself to be unbiased about the images we present.
It may set a standard for critiquing images for all of us to follow.
It would be nice to have a post count though. Just so we can view some of your critiques and learn from them.

Welcome to AP, my anonymous friend. Looking forward to seeing how you go with this.

Geoff, there will be a post count. The mods and I are just showing anon around the site at present, and discussing their role and how to use the mods area. There will be a few days of discussion and training before anon gets into the swing of things.

Thank you for the welcome. Most appreciated. I now have a job to start doing and it will take me about 5-6 days to get everything in place for my first adventure on Ausphotography, then you will get to see my posts regularly. Looking forward to showing you what I am here for.

Hope Mr. A also gives us suggestions on how to improve an image, once he has critiqued it.
I think his first suggestion would be to calibrate the monitor?

Some say he takes award winning photos every time he blinks, and that his head contains a hot shoe. All we know is he's called the Anonymous Critic...

    Sorry, couldn't help myself!!

Thankfully I am Ken Rockwell. No really, I am Ken Rockwell! Keep believing that and you will be so far off scent that its funny. Though Ken is funny most of the time, well he cannot be serious, can he?

I am pleased I have piqued your interest in what my role on AP will be. I can now tell you that this Sunday, being the 27th May, I will be posting my first critiques. In the meantime I might just have a look around the site and check out some of the critiquing that you are giving each other. Cause I will be taking it to the next level, and inviting you along to match me, with your critiques. So start work on your critiquing 'game' right now. You will need to, to keep up with me. I am going to turn AP into the best critiquing photography forum..EVER!
