550D HD Video

Just got access to a new 550D (My son got one for his birthday the family chipped in, He's doing media studies at school ) Well seeing I'm a major shareholder in the new camera , I've been having a play with Video, ( My sons into BMX) This is new to me, First I read on the 180deg thingy, Where the rule is to double the Frame/per sec theory 24fs means to shoot the video at a shutter speed of 1/50th , Apparently with the 550D you can shoot in manual and take shots just like taking a still shot, If your starting out in Video shooting.
