Just wondering if anyone has tried the lens cap white balance filters and what your thoughts and & or success with them are and if price makes a difference.

I sometimes use a Lastolite 'Ezybalance Grey/White' collapsable 12 inch, easy to use and effective.

Dont know anyone that uses the cap method, although I cant think why it wouldn't do the trick.
Same goes for a sheet of A4 white paper I guess

Ive used them, they are OK if the light at the camera is the same as the light at the target...I just use the $5 ebay jobbie, it gets close, but not as accurate as a whibal card or expodisc
