Hi Kerrie, Today Sunrise was at 6.25am , You wold need to be down the beach @ 5.45am so you dont miss any colour

Bummer, Today the company is sending me to Hong Kong (shenzhen), Seoul Korea, then on to Taipei Taiwan on the 3rd for two weeks for training and to meet some of our suppliers.... may have to take a camera
So I will miss it, unless you do the Sat 2nd. I hope all goes well.

I think Currumbin beach for a sunrise surprise......???

OK, so if this is happening on Saturday the 2nd, I might, and it is only a might, make my way down.
Sunrise on the beach, then up to the waterfalls, sounds awesome

I would need to work out some accommodation, read very cheap accommodation, if I can do that, and I end up with no takers for the CQ day, then you might just see me

And after the beach sunrise we can go toCoolangatta and capture images from the Cooly Rocks On festival - vintage cars, people in 1950s era clothing, dancing etc. I missed it last year and am going tot he NSW Ballina meet up on Sunday but this sounds a good opportunity to have a gecko this year.

Mark Chap you are welcome to the sofa bed for Friday noght but it is committed for Saturday night, but if you have bedding I can scratch up a mattress on the floor for you.

Sounds good too but I know we will all end up going our own way and thats it!...The Mountain we could all still join in..But either way is ok for me.

What about sunrise on the beach/Currumbin at 530-630am, breakfast somewhere then to waterfalls (mt Tamborine/Springbrook/o'reilys or currmbin rock pools?)- finish around lunch with Lunch option?

I guess I'm in for sunrise at least, I dont know if there will be much happening at the Cooley Rocks festival, I think the main events are towards the end of the week and the following weekend ?
I aim to try and get to the northern NSW meet on the Sunday at Lennox heads/Balina as well....maybe

You're right David, the 9th & 10th are the main days for Cooly rocks.

I was thinking that Cooly Rocks was on teh long weekend as well due to a customer telling me all about it...Never mind...Plenty more shows like that around...Greazefest is at Rocklea HERE August...I'm wanting to go to that.
Who ever is around after breakfast can all decide what they all want to do
