AP SA GREAT National Meet 2nd/3rd June 2012

Hi Fellow SA AusPhotography Members!

The national meet is scheduled for the 2nd and/or 3rd of June 2012.
Obviously weather will play a part on this weekend.

I'm open to suggestions as to what we should do and where.

Given an indoor (or covered) meet might be safer weather-wise we could do one of the following: (or another idea?)

• National Motor Museum at Birdwood
• A studio portrait day ( small fee would be involved, we could hire a venue and some lighting gear )
• Adelaide Zoo

Also: We could have a pub dinner as well!

Please feel free to make some suggestions!

I am ok for that weekend at the moment. would love to do Monarto Zoo again but weather could be a problem like last time. Pub dinner sounds good to me.

I will mark the weekend in my calendar. Birdwood would be good, Alternatively if weather is friendly some place like Laratinga ? Another suggestion is Railway museum at Port Adelaide, with all of the rest of the port area nearby.

Like the sound of Adelaide Zoo as we would have greater access to other sites & Pubs etc.

this is an idea as if the weather is fine can also walk around port Adelaide some nice old buildings there

Ohh, I would love to come, however that happens to be the one weekend that I have something on both days.

I have some basic studio gear . some backdrops a pair off soft box lights if its wet could be an alternative , you would need to find a space plus model .

So
a) Adelaide Zoo
b) Birdwood Motor Museum

and
1) Saturday PM
2) Sunday PM

and
A pub dinner afterwards?

Birdwood for me, I spend time at the zoo for work purposes so want something different. Saturday or Sunday is fine by me.
