    1DmkIV - ISO 12800

    OMG!!! I am finally getting to grips with this camera and whilst I am still getting lots of missed shots I am now leaning towards a learning curve rather than camera fault. Will decide after the shoot I have this weekend.

    Anyhow...in messing with settings etc I decided to have a go at high ISO. Here is the result, a nothing shot of one of our cats but hell that is a pretty good outcome for ISO 12800. @f4.5, 1/100 on a 50mm 1.4 lens

    Very, very impressive machine, the 1D IV. Just seems to do everything you ask it to without the lightest fuss.

    Yep I was blown away by the clarity of this shot at that ISO. She is an old girl but yes, very unusual markings.
