Smile RAW conversion into Photoshop Elements

    Hi There,

I'm a relative newbie to photography and until now I have been using Digital Photo Professional for RAW conversion and basic processing of photos. I was after a bit more functionality than DPP could provide so I have recently purchased Photoshop Elements 10.

I'm itching to get started on seeing what I can do with some of my old photos in PSE10, but I can't work out how to open the RAW images which I have kept. Do I have to process the RAW images into another format before I can edit them in PSE? The DPP software allowed me to edit the RAW image and then convert it into jpeg/tiff, etc, so I'm not sure what I need to convert the images into so I can edit them in PSE?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Nick
