    BOM Weather Radar Loop

You can shift to other radar installations and change the map scale.

So you finally discovered the weather radar that the bureau has had on its website since late 1999 ?
It is a very nice product for identifying rain, but does have many many limitations that are probably a little above the level of discussion needed here. Still it may help you avoid getting wet, if you know what to look for.

Not "discovered" but "posted". But I'm glad you've it for so long, too.
